Setting up your network

MyPlace only works when people you know are in the network. The more people you know, the more places you have access to, the more people who can discover your place and so on...

Here’s how

  1. Connect your contact book (seriously - it won't work without it)
  2. Find your friends who are on MyPlace (search)
  3. Use your private link to invite your close friends
  4. Join Groups

Close Friends

These are people you proactively designate as your close friend on the network. This circle has the highest access to your place; you can set secret pricing and availability just for them.

Contacts

These are people from your mobile/gmail contacts or people you previously 'friended' on MyPlace. They can see your places and posts that are set to 'All Contacts.'

Extended Network

These are your mutual friends aka 'friends of friends.' Use this setting when you want to share your place with the most people possible.
